I'm Asthar Cohen, 34, mother of two, woman and artist.
I've traveled a long way to get where I am today. I've endured terrible loss, I've loved, I've fallen and I've risen back up.
Last year I got divorced, I had to take apart an entire life and rebuild it piece by piece.
Each time the world shakes beneath my feet, I find color. I find lines. I find shapes.
And I stand before the canvas asking one question: who am I now?
Art has always been a part of me – fashion, painting, design, movement, singing.
I studied, created, produced, I've worked with luxury brands and luxury hotels. But it was when everything fell apart that I finally reached my true creativity.
Not just aesthetic beauty, but depth, pain, passion, light.
Today I work in a studio I created for myself, with an inner peace not to be taken for granted.
My creations are born of real life – raw, powerful, feminine.
Each of my paintings are not just art, they're an expression. Freedom. A cry. A prayer.
My site is open. You're welcome to explore my paintings, created from within my most authentic self, of truth and heartbreak and the force of life, and of a feminine force that will be stifled no longer. And you're welcome to connect with the one that speaks to you and make it your own.
